Vitalis operates on a core belief: AI should empower individuals, not monitor them. Every layer of the stack is designed so that your agent's knowledge remains yours, with no surveillance and no data harvesting.
"In a world of growing AI integration into our daily lives, it is crucial that humans are able to interact with machine intelligence without centralised surveillance and control."
Erik Voorhees, Venice AIEvery tier of the Vitalis stack is engineered for data sovereignty. Private inference. Encrypted storage. Permissionless access. Verifiable proofs.
Every prompt your agent sends is processed without logging, without content restrictions, without centralised oversight. The model never sees your conversation history unless you give it memory.
In Cloud mode, memories are encrypted at rest. In Local mode, they never leave your device at all. The database operator cannot read what your agent remembers.
Memory existence can be committed to a public chain as a SHA-256 hash. No content is exposed. You get immutable proof of what your agent knew and when, without surrendering privacy.
Usage metrics (API call counts, latency, error rates) are collected for reliability. Memory content is never read, indexed for advertising, or used to train models. What your agent thinks stays private.
These are not promises. They are in production today, available to every Vitalis user.
Not a token wrapped around an API. Real infrastructure where your data belongs to you and nobody can revoke it.
Centuries ago, church was separated from state. The cypherpunks separated language from state through encryption. Bitcoin separated money from state.
The next step: separating mind from state. Ensuring no single entity controls the machine intelligence that thinks alongside you. Your agent's memories are a cognitive extension of you. They should be yours by default, not by permission.
